ICAJ constituents sing praises at the Institute's 52nd Anniversary Service of Thanksgiving which was held on January 29, 2017 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Montego Bay.

52nd Anniversary Service of Thanksgiving

2016 ICAJ Distinguished Member Awardee
Mr Earl Jarrett (left) receives the 2016 ICAJ Distinguished Member Award from Mr Bruce Scott, President, ICAJ for his outstanding contributions to the Accountancy profession and the public. Mr Jarrett is the General Manager of the Jamaica National Building Society. The presentation was made at the ICAJ’s Annual Awards Banquet which was held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on December 1, 2016.
Alexandra Stennett - Outstanding Performer
Mr Bruce Scott, President, ICAJ presents the ICAJ Overall Examination Award to Mrs. Alexandra Stennett for attaining the highest average mark in the ACCA Professional Examinations. She met the award criteria having completed the entire programme, comprising 14 subjects, passing each at the first attempt over a period of three years. The presentation was made at the Joint Graduation Ceremony of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) held on October 29, 2016 at the Knutsford Court Hotel.
Anecia Walters - Outstanding Performer
Mr Bruce Scott, President, ICAJ presents the Professional Level Award to Miss Anecia Walters for passing all five subjects at the first attempt over a period of 12 months in the ACCA Professional Examinations. She was also the recipient of the Sushil Jain Award which is presented to the youngest graduate completing the ACCA examinations for the period. The presentations were made at the Joint Graduation Ceremony of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) held on October 29, 2016 at the Knutsford Court Hotel.

Mrs Elaine Robinson, Honorary Secretary and Chairman, Membership Committee, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) receives the 2016 Most Outstanding Committee Chairperson Award from Mr Bruce Scott, President, ICAJ at the Institute’s Annual General Meeting which was held on July 28, 2016 at the ICAJ Secretariat in Kingston.
