Kenneth LaCruise - 1980 to 1981

 Mr. Kenneth R. LaCruise
President

Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica
1980 - 1981.

Mr LaCruise worked in the capacity of Financial Controller at the University of the West Indies and later moved on to work at Coopers and Lybrand, where he retired in 1992 as Managing Partner.

Today, he operates a Consultancy, while continuing his stewardship within the accounting fraternity, as a Fellow of the Association of Certified Accountants, and still serves on the Institute's Disciplinary Committee. Though his tenure as President was brief, he feels a sense of pride in the knowledge that his period was marked by his initiative to consolidate the purchase of the Institute's premises, located at 8 Ruthven Road, Kingston 10.

He also served as Chairman of the Finance Committee, and also on the Future of the Profession, Building and Taxation Committees.
