STUDENT BURSARIES & AWARDS
The ICAJ, in an effort to encourage the pursuit of studies in accountancy, provides financial assistance to Jamaican nationals interested in becoming Chartered Accountants through annual Student Bursaries and Awards.

The ICAJ Student Bursary Award is provided to a student not currently entitled to financial support from an employer and who has passed part 1 in two (2) sittings in the ICAJ/ACCA Joint Examination Scheme. The Award covers tuition and books for the certificate stage over a period of 2 years.

The ICAJ also awards four University Bursaries annually to students who maintain at least a B+ average. These bursaries are tenable at the University of the West Indies (B.Sc. Accounting) and the University of Technology (BBA). Each bursary is available for two years.
