Student Affairs [The Members]
Matters concerning student affairs are administered through the Services Department of the ICAJ.

The programmes we offer are the CAT (Certified Accounting Technician); MSER (Mature Students' Entry Route); ACCA (Professional Entry Route to the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants).

Students' Affairs are regulated and supervised and regulated by the Student Affairs Committee of Council. The Students Affairs Committee administers the mandatory orientation exercise for new students. The Committee mandates that students who fail to attend an orientation session within the time stipulated will be barred from sitting the ICAJ/ACCA Joint Scheme examinations.

The answer is:

Gloria Hamilton was the first female Chartered Accountant to be awarded the national honour - the Order of Distinction - Commander Class in 1996.
