ICAJ Introduces Seminar Webcasting

The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) seminar held by ICAJ on February 27 and 28, through its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee, was held at Jamaica Conference Centre in Kingston and was also delivered by webcast to other participants both in Jamaica and overseas.

Advisory on Sensitivity Analysis Disclosure

The amendment to IFRS 7 – Financial Instruments: Disclosures issued on 13 October 2008 and the subsequent clarifying guidance of 24 October 2008 provides for enhanced disclosures of fair value measurements including the measure of sensitivity to a change in input data.
