Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) is saddened to hear about the loss thousands of life, the injuries suffered, and extensive property damage in Haiti, as a result of the earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale, which occurred on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.
