2012 Distinguished Member Awardee
Hon. Dr. Peter Phillips, Minister of Finance and Planning presents the ICAJ 2012 Distinguished Member Award to Mr Denis Goldson, ICAJ Founding Member and Managing Partner of Paul Goldson and Company, Chartered Accountants, for his outstanding contribution to the Institute and to the Accountancy profession. The presentation was made at the Annual Awards Banquet of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica which was held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on December 6, 2012. View the gallery.
Bye-Laws 
Auditor General, and ICAJ member, Mrs. Pamela Monroe Ellis, has been elected to the Board of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). This is the first time that a representative from the Caribbean has been elected to the IFAC Board. Mrs Monroe Ellis will be representing the Caribbean Region and Latin America on the Board. IFAC is the global organisation for the Accountancy profession, dedicated to serving the public interest by strengthening the profession and contributing to the development of strong international economies.
